Uniform Expectations at Star of the Sea

As we begin a new school year, we want to take a moment to remind families about our school’s uniform policy. At Star of the Sea, our uniform is an important part of creating a sense of unity, pride, and belonging among our students. Thank you for supporting your child in wearing the uniform with care and consistency.

Where to Shop

All uniform items must be purchased from Cambridge Uniforms. Families are also welcome to purchase gently used Cambridge pieces through our SOS Boutique, which provides an affordable option for uniform needs. Please contact the school office for more information about the SOS Boutique.

Uniform Standards

To maintain a neat and consistent appearance, students are expected to follow these guidelines:

• Only official Cambridge uniform pieces are permitted. Please do not add any additional visible clothing items to the uniform.

• Shoes must be completely black—athletic or dress styles are acceptable. They should have no visible coloured stitching or adornments. Ankle-height boots are permitted; however, boots higher than ankle height are not.

• Socks must be solid black or navy when wearing the “dress” uniform. White socks may be worn on PE days only.

Parents are reminded to make sure students are in compliance with our uniform policy each morning. The Parent Handbook, located under the Parents tab on our school website, includes the uniform policy. Additional details available here.
