Our Biggest Annual Fundraiser
For almost 30 years, the Stella Maris Gala has been a night for our community to unite socially for a good cause.
Each year, we build memories and raise money so our children can benefit from resources that enhance their education and make Star of the Sea School a fun, exciting environment.
Funds raised recently have been used to build the learning commons, re-turf and fence the big field, and install a security system.
We greatly appreciate all of the hard work of our volunteers and donors.
The support we receive from the community and parish is paramount to the success of the Gala.
Gala Returns - November 14, 2026
We are thrilled to announce Star of the Sea Parish's annual Stella Maris Gala on the evening of Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Hazelmere Golf and Country Club. This annual highlight brings our community together for a night of fun and fundraising for Star of the Sea Catholic School.
Thanks to the funds raised at this year’s Gala, renovations to our primary classrooms will soon be underway. We’re excited to refresh these spaces with updated walls, cabinetry, and trim—breathing new life into rooms that have faithfully served our students for over 40 years.
This year, we turn our focus to an exciting new goal: bringing to life our vision for a new Parish Center—a vibrant hub for both our school and parish family.
This transformative project will include:
• A state-of-the-art gymnasium to support athletics and school events
• New classrooms to meet the needs of our growing student body
• Multipurpose rooms for arts, music, and creative learning
• Dedicated space for before and after school care
This Parish Center will serve not only our students and educators but also become a gathering place for our entire parish—where faith, learning, and community come together.
