Parking Lot Safety

In addition to the issues raised on our March 9th post on Traffic Safety, please note the following issues and do everything you can to keep our kids safe:

1) When using the morning drop off zone, pull to the curb on the right before letting children out. Some parents have been allowing students out in the middle of the drop off zone! This could lead to a very dangerous situation.

2) Do not drop your child off on the other side of 150th Street or on 23rd Avenue and expect them to cross the street or driveways to the school. There is no crosswalk and drivers may not see your child crossing.

I understand the feeling of needing to get to work quickly in the morning but please remember, it only takes a moment for tragedy to happen. For the sake of the kids, please be safe.
