Parent Participation Program Information

Like the rest of the world, the Parent Participation Program (PPP) was greatly impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Many service opportunities and hours were unavailable due to government mandated covid regulations. In response to these challenges, the Parish Education Committee relaxed expectations.

Now that those regulations are no more, PPP is back in full swing. Job opportunities are available and parents are asked to login to the OnVolunteers website and log their hours. Instructions on how to log in are available on our website under the Parent Tab or by clicking here. The deadline for submitting hours for the first half of the school year is at the end of January, but you can start submitting the hours right away.

In order for this program to function effectively and be fair to everyone, the school will enforce expectations by withdrawing the PPP obligation ($400 March 1 and $400 June 1) from those families who do not complete the required hours. It is our hope that everyone does their hours. This investment of time and energy builds a greater sense of ownership and community. The school needs parents to be involved so that everyone feels invested in the success of the school.

Thank you for your participation and support of the program. If you have any questions please call the office.
