Fall Frenzy

We spent our first month in school getting to know one another, establishing new friendships, learning the rules and routines of our classes, and becoming comfortable in our new school environment. Now that we have adjusted to school-life we will begin to accelerate the pace of our learning.

Here are some highlights of what we will be learning about this month.

Family Photos

Please ensure that you send a 4x6 family photo to school as soon as possible (if you have not done so already). Colour photo, landscape (horizontal) orientation preferred. We will be using these for an art project to display year-round in our classroom, as a reminder of home for the students. Photos may not be returned in the same condition you sent them, so please make a copy before you send it in to us.

All About Me Posters

Each week (on Friday), 5 students will be sent home with an ‘All About Me’ poster. Thank you to the families who have already completed theirs and sent it back to school. We look forward to seeing your child’s whenever you have it ready to return (ideally, within one week from the time it is sent home to you).

October Homework Calendar

October’s Homework Calendar will be distributed in hard-copy via your child’s student planner. Participation is completely optional.

Scholastic Orders

Scholastic order flyers are now available digitally. Follow the link to see October’s flyer. Thank you for supporting this program.
