Peace, Gratitude, and Courage

This month we have focused on peace, gratitude, and courage. Remembrance Day gave us the opportunity to remember all the brave people who have worked to create a peaceful world. Students had the chance to reflect on when and where they feel peaceful. They understand that through the efforts of others, they are able to live in a peaceful nation.

Giving Thanks for Our Relationships

Students visualized as they listened to this Indigenous Prayer. They easily found connections with our Catholic Creation Story. Then they chose a part of the prayer to write about in their Grateful Folder.

Our Saint Study has been awesome. Students learned about the lives of many Saints. They read stories about courage, faith, and about having trust in God. They completed their first research project and an art project to accompany it.
