December Happenings in Grade 2

Our classroom has been filled with all kinds of fun activities! Take a look at all of our latest themes. Everyone enjoyed learning about a variety of different Saints. Students had the chance to read, research, take notes, complete a final research paper, and create a Saint. Our water study included water experiments which were super messy and enjoyable! We have entered the Advent Season with joyful anticipation of Jesus’ birth. Our daily Advent prayer services include the lighting of our Advent wreath and a Jesse Tree filled with important stories. We all look forward to these prayerful times of our day. In Social Studies, students have had the opportunity to travel around the world and to learn all about Holiday Traditions. It has been an informative and exciting adventure. The Sacramental Theme this month is Caring. A “Caring tree” was created that showcases all the things that we care about.

It has already been a wonderful month.
