Morning Drop-Off Procedures: A Safer Start to the Day!

We want to take a moment to thank all of our families for your support and cooperation as we rolled out our new morning drop-off procedures. We are pleased to share that we have seen great success so far! The updated system has made the morning routine much safer for our students, and as everyone has become more familiar with the process, drop-offs are running more smoothly and efficiently each day. Your patience and commitment have made a real difference!

What We've Learned & How We Can Keep Improving

While things are going well, there are still a few key reminders that will help keep mornings safe and efficient for everyone:

๐Ÿš— Stop and Hop
Once you reach the drop-off line, students should be ready to exit the vehicle quickly and independently with all their belongings. Think โ€œstop and hopโ€ โ€” a smooth and swift exit helps keep the line moving for everyone.

๐Ÿšซ No Trunk Access
For safety reasons, students should not retrieve items from the trunk while in the drop-off lane. Please ensure all necessary items are with your child inside the vehicle.

๐Ÿšถโ€โ™‚๏ธ Stay in Your Vehicle
Drivers should remain inside their vehicles at all times while in the drop-off lane. If you need to assist your child, please park in a designated parking spot before doing so.

๐Ÿ…ฟ๏ธ Proper Drop-off Locations
Students should only be dropped off:

  • In the designated drop-off line

  • Or, after you have parked properly in a marked parking spot within the lot

Please do not drop students off:

  • On 24th Avenue

  • Along 150th Street, where stopping and parking are prohibited and clearly marked by municipal signage

๐Ÿก Be a Good Neighbour
As always, we kindly ask that you:

  • Avoid blocking neighbours' driveways

  • Refrain from parking the wrong way on side streets

  • Drive slowly and carefully through our school zone

We appreciate your continued efforts to make morning drop-offs safe and efficient for all students. Thank you for being such a supportive school community!
