Light & Sound Scientist Visit

We were so excited to have “Biochemical Bob” from “High Tech High Touch” give us a great in-class field trip about LIGHT and SOUND!

He showed us the SPECTRUM of LIGHT aka ROYGBIV with flashlights, mirrors, prisms and 3D glasses

We practiced the words TRANSPARENT, TRANSLUCENT and OPAQUE by shining flashlights through different materials all around our classroom! PHYSICS is PH-FUN!

We even used SLINKIES to show what SOUNDWAVES look like!
