Kids A-Z Online Reading Program
We have set up our classes to have access to an online reading program. This will provide students with an additional source of home reading materials. A letter was sent home to explain the program and provide login information. A login card has also been taped to the front of planners.
Toys at School
Many children have been bringing toys from home to play with during recess times, and for the most part, this has been beneficial in helping students connect and find common interests with classmates. However, there is always a possibility of toys getting lost or broken. Please discuss this with your child when they are choosing something to bring, as well as the importance of sharing their toys with classmates.
Clothing Items
Please ensure your child has the appropriate clothing items for school each day. As the weather is getting colder, you may want to send a toque and mittens to keep at school. Please also remember to label all items to assist us in returning them to the right student.
Christmas Craft Centres
Christmas is quickly approaching, and one of our special Kindergarten activities is Christmas Craft Centres. This will take place on Monday, December 8th, from 1:00 to 3:00. To ensure things run smoothly, we will need some parent volunteers. If the school has already received your Criminal Record Check and you are available to help us, please email your child’s teacher as soon as possible.
