Interim Report Changes

Families of Star of the Sea School,

On Thursday, October 22nd, you will be receiving your child’s first Interim Report for the school year. This Interim Report is different than in years past. The older Interim Reports focussed exclusively on behaviour and work habits. The new Interim Report also gives information on general academic process. Please note: Temporary Transition Students will not receive their Interim Reports until Monday, November 30th.

As a staff we are working together to make our communication of student learning more frequent, objective, meaningful, and concise. Our staff Professional Development Day on October 23rd will focus exclusively on this goal. I will have a more in depth update of what reporting for the rest of the year will look like after that day.
