End of Year Message from Mr. Borkowski

Families and Friends of Star of the Sea School,

As the school year comes to a close, emotions run high as students and teachers prepare to bid farewell. Saying goodbye is never easy, for it means letting go of cherished memories, treasured friendships, and the comfort of routine. The hallways once filled with laughter and the classrooms brimming with learning now stand empty, echoing a bittersweet reminder of the year that has passed. The end of the school year is not simply an end, but a testament to the lasting impact we have on one another's lives.

Throughout this school year, we have made great strides in building our faith at Star of the Sea School. We have learned about the teachings of Jesus, celebrated the sacraments, and participated in various spiritual activities. It is important for us to remember the significance of keeping in touch with the Church this summer. While we may have a break from our regular schedules, it is essential to nurture our faith by attending mass, engaging in prayer, and staying connected to our religious community.

On behalf of Star of the Sea School, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude and appreciation to our wonderful school parents and dedicated staff members. Your unwavering support and tireless commitment have played an integral role in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our students. I recognize the countless hours you have spent volunteering, organizing events, and sharing your expertise, which has enriched the educational experiences of our students. Your sincere dedication to their success and well-being do not go unnoticed.

As final reminders, you are all invited to our final school Mass on Wednesday, June 28th at 9am. Dismissal is at 11am. Our school office will be open from Thursday, June 29th until Tuesday, July 4th. The office will reopen on Monday, August 21st. Class placements will be sent home before the Labour Day weekend.

May God bless you and your families with a safe and restful summer break.

Sincerely,

Mr. Jason Borkowski

Principal
