Dance Week Returns to Star of the Sea School!

We are thrilled to announce the return of a beloved tradition at Star of the Sea School, Dance Week, taking place from April 13–17! After a hiatus, this joyful and energetic celebration is back!

Throughout the week, choreographers from 1-Vibe Entertainment will work with each class to choreograph unique and engaging dance routines. Students will have the opportunity to build confidence, express creativity, and collaborate with their classmates as they learn and rehearse their performances.

Families are warmly invited to join us for a special Dance Week Showcase on Friday, April 17, at 1:30 PM, where each class will perform their routine. We look forward to seeing our gym filled with proud families cheering on our students!

Costumes

Please dress in your designated colour on April 17 (non-uniform day). Clothing should be simple, modest and comfortable for dancing.

Kindergarten - Bright coloured top (any colour) and dark bottoms.

Gr. 1 - White top, dark bottoms and a hat, touque or headband

Gr. 2 - Red, black or white (any combination, tops and bottoms)

Gr. 3 - Your school gym strip and a Star of the Sea basketball shirt (provided by school)

Gr. 4 - Black, white or gold (any combination, tops and bottoms)

Gr. 5 - Button-up dress shirt and tie (borrow from a parent or family member) and dark bottoms

Gr. 6 - Blue, white, silver, or grey top (choose one colour) and dark bottoms

Gr. 7 - Grad hoodie and dark bottoms
