Meet the Teacher!

A little bit about me….

My name is Maria Allen and I have been teaching at Star of the Sea for the last twelve years. I have also taught at St. Matthews and Holy Trinity. Prior to that I taught in Michigan, which is where I am from. My husband and I have four children, who have all attended Star of the Sea. Our oldest children are in University, our other son is in Grade Eleven and our youngest daughter is in Grade Six. So I have been a parent here for a long time as well as a staff member. I enjoy coaching basketball and volleyball, enthusiastically plan road trips, find time to read, and adore spending tons of time with my family, I absolutely love my job and am forever grateful that I can share my Faith with my students.
