We are very excited about Walk-a-thon 2022!

Walk-a-thon 2022 will take place at Star of the Sea School on Friday, October 14th.

What are we fundraising for?

We are very excited about both of our goals for this year’s Walk-a-thon.  Our first goal, which will receive 75% of funds raised this year, is the continued upgrade to our school’s HVAC system.  We have already completed this project for half of our school, and our goal this year is to raise enough money to complete the project.

Our second goal this year is to support needy children around the world through Chalice.  Our students will once again have the opportunity to use the Chalice Christmas Catalogue to allocate the funds they raise as a class.  This was a rewarding and educational experience that our students will enjoy.

How do I help?

Pledge forms are due on Friday, October 7, so you have two weeks to collect pledges. More pledge forms can be downloaded and printed from HERE.

Are there prizes this year?

This year the top fundraising Grade in Primary and in Intermediate will be rewarded with a class party to take place in October.

What is happening on Walk-a-thon Day? More details to come

The Walk-a-thon will take place at Star of the Sea School on Friday, October 14th. Students wear gym strip and arrive at the usual time to be brought into class at 8:55am. Student will be dismissed at 12 noon.
