Star of the Sea Online Parent Workshop
Understanding Anxiety is a free workshop exclusive to our Star of the Sea parents. This workshop will explore what anxiety actually is, why we are all so anxious, and how parents can help their kids navigate anxiety by taking a holistic approach to understanding their bodies, their feelings, and the power of their thoughts.
Students will learn how to tune into their bodies’ sensations, how to name and express their feelings in healthy ways, and how to shift their minds to more positive and healthy thoughts. Anxiety is on the rise for children today, and it is the most common of the mental health concerns. It is also the most treatable!
