Spring Break Thanks from Mr. Borkowski

Parents and Friends of Star of the Sea School,

It seems as though the worst of the pandemic is behind us. Our most vulnerable are getting their vaccines already and it looks as if all who want a vaccine will get one by the end of the school year. Thank God!

I want to thank all the families in our school for their diligence and care when it comes to COVID safety. I’m not writing today about rules or expectations (that’s in another post), just about thanks and relief. We made it to Spring Break without a reported exposure!

I also want to express my public thanks to the staff of the school. Their courage and perseverance has been outstanding. They make our kids feel safe and loved everyday, even in the middle of these most trying circumstances. Thank you staff. You are amazing and deserve to relax over the next two weeks.
