Spelling Bee Update

After an extraordinary 31 rounds of prefixes, suffixes, and seriously tricky words, our 2026 Spelling Bee came to a thrilling conclusion. From carefully enunciated consonants to confidently placed vowels, our finalists demonstrated remarkable composure.

Here’s how the final standings spelled out:

1st Place: Antonio Mendez (Grade 7)
2nd Place: Isabel Narinesingh (Grade 6)
3rd Place: Austin San Jose (Grade 5)

Congratulations to all ten finalists who navigated round after round of increasingly challenging words.

Antonio will represent Star of the Sea at the CISVA Spelling Bee on April 27. We’ll be cheering him on as he continues to spell his way to success!
