Dear Parents, Friends and Supporters of SJP2A,
I am writing to ask your urgent help with the following. The Foundation has submitted its building permit application to the City of Surrey but the City will not process this application until an environmental approval is in place. At present there is a bottleneck at the provincial level in the Water Ways Office of the Ministry of Forest, Land, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development. We submitted our application to this office in late March but they have yet to respond despite repeated attempts to get a response. Until the Water Ways Office provides its response, allowing us to submit this to the City of Surrey, the City is not in a position to provide its environmental approval.
