Remembrance Day

Grade 2A did an amazing job on their Remembrance Day art project. We learned about In Flanders Fields by John McCrae and reflected on the meaning behind his powerful words.

The students created beautiful “stained glass” paintings inspired by Flanders Fields. Their artwork is a touching reminder of gratitude and peace.

Let us all take a moment to remember and pray for the brave soldiers who have served and continue to fight for our freedom.

Loving God,

We remember today those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. May we never forget their courage and love. Help us to live in peace, kindness, and gratitude, honouring their memory through our actions and our hearts.

Amen.
