PPP Opportunities for Next Year

While most of our volunteer opportunities are shifts you sign-up for, we do have a few essential roles / opportunities that are assigned. If you are interested in any of these opportunities for next school year, please contact the school office.

Gala Class Projects

The Gala committee is looking for creative people to join the Class Projects team for this upcoming year.

Class Project Team Role:

  • The class projects will be approved by the Gala Committee prior to the start of the school year

  • Team members are welcome to submit an idea for approval

  • Team members will be assigned a class project by the Gala Committee

  • Team members must have a valid criminal record check on file with the school office

  • Once assigned to a class project, team member(s) must work directly with classroom teachers to schedule convenient times to work with students

  • Team members must keep track of their hours. Team members will earn a minimum of 15 PPP hours. If the project takes more than 15 hours, team members will submit the hours to the Gala Committee for approval

Back to school Preparation

The maintenance team is looking for parent volunteers who will be available during the day the week of August 18th to help prepare the school for re-opening. The tasks will include moving furniture back into rooms after the renovations are complete.

The specific date/times required are yet to be confirmed, but if you would like to get a jump start on your PPP commitment for the year, and you can be available the week of August 18th for 2 to 4 hours, please email the school office now. We will contact you in August, once the dates are confirmed.

Parish Support

The parish office is looking for a volunteer that is familiar with desktop publishing to help complete the Parish Centenary Photo Directory. The parish office is hoping to have this project completed as soon possible (by the end of the summer at the latest). All your volunteer time will go towards your PPP commitment for the year.
