Orange Shirt Day at Star of the Sea

On Friday, September 26, students are invited to wear an orange shirt with their school uniform as we observe Truth and Reconciliation Day.

Wearing orange is a way to walk together toward a future of understanding, healing, and hope. As a school community, we recognize the past while choosing to build a brighter tomorrow — one where every child is valued and every voice is heard.

Parents and families are warmly invited to join us for our Orange Shirt Day Paraliturgy on Friday at 9:15 am, where the Grade 6 class will lead us in prayer. We will also be joined by Solange Legal, a Catholic Métis recording artist who will share her songs and message with us.
