May & June

The past few months have been busy, exciting, and full of hands-on learning. During our life cycle unit, students had the unique opportunity to observe the life cycle of a chick from egg to hatchling, recording their observations and asking thoughtful questions throughout the process. We were also fortunate to welcome the Poultry in Motion program to our school, where students were able to see and learn about all stages of a chicken’s life cycle firsthand. We also explored both metamorphic and non-metamorphic life cycles, comparing how different animals grow and change over time.

Our classroom is a wonderful reflection of the many cultures and nationalities that make up our school community. On Multicultural Day, students proudly celebrated their heritage by dressing in traditional clothing and cultural attire. We also created a bulletin board featuring the flags of the countries represented in our class. It was a special opportunity to celebrate our differences and appreciate the diversity that makes our classroom such a welcoming place to learn and grow.
