Mathletes

We are excited to explore the possibility of launching a new enrichment opportunity at our school: Mathletes, a club designed for students who have a strong interest in challenging mathematical problem-solving.

Mathletes would likely meet after school twice per month beginning in February, with the goal of preparing for participation in a written math contest in late Spring. Between meetings, students will be given practice problems to work on independently, helping them strengthen their problem-solving skills and stay engaged with the material. This club is intended for students who are enthusiastic about tackling complex problems, enjoy thinking deeply, and are willing to put in consistent effort.

At this time, we are gathering information to determine the level of interest among families. We are considering opening this up for students in Grades 4 to 7. Your input will help us decide which grade levels we can serve and how many students we can accept for the inaugural season.

If you believe your child would be a good fit (hard-working, focused, and eager to stretch their thinking) we would very much appreciate your feedback. Please take a moment to complete the brief interest form linked below.
