Key Learnings this Month

Kids A-Z Online Reading Program

We have set up our classes to have access to an online reading program. This will provide students with an additional source of home reading materials. A letter will be sent home in your child’s planner to explain the program and provide login information. A login card will also be taped to the front of their planner.

Seesaw Online Program

Students have begun working on some online activities and self reflections in their Seesaw digital learning journal to complement concepts being taught in class. You will receive an email from Seesaw this week, which will provide you with access to your child’s journal and the ability to comment on their work.

Missing Uniform Pieces

Please ensure all uniform pieces are labeled with your child’s name on them. Sweaters, sweatshirts and jackets are often left outside or in the gym which makes it very difficult to locate the owners.

Planners

Please empty the front pocket of your child’s planner each night. Important notices which can sometimes be time sensitive may be in there. Any completed work can remain at home. Also, Read Well Magazines are sent home for students to show you their great reading and to continue to practice the skills learned at each level to be successful at the next.
