Home Reading
For May and June, our ‘homework’ focus will be reading. You can choose to read to your child, have them read to you, or both; whichever suits your child and your family time best. You are welcome to choose your own interest-based reading materials from the library or your home collection. RAZ Kids is also available, so log in and use the wide variety of materials available there as well (sign-in credentials can be found on the inside cover of your child’s planner).
Friday, May 3 - Kindergarten Assembly and In-School Retreat Day for Students
May 3rd we will be having an in-school retreat with a special focus on our Blessed Mother Mary. We will begin the day with our Kindergarten Crowning of Mary Assembly and end with the Rosary at 2:15 in the church. All are welcome. Please send a rosary to school with your child on Friday for this very special day.
Please make sure that your child comes to school dressed in full uniform, including their school sweater.
Also, please bring a flower for our procession to Mary.
Father’s Day Fishing Field Trip
As mentioned at student-led conference, we will be going on a field trip to the Fraser Valley Trout Hatchery on Thursday, June 13th. We are hoping many fathers or grandfathers will be able to attend. Of course, moms are most welcome if that works best for your family. Online permission form will be sent out soon.
