Happy New Year!

Students had the opportunity to discus the importance of setting goals, and about the steps necessary to reach them. They set a school goal and an extra-curricular goal.

West Coast Salish Art

We learned about West Coast Salish Animals and the symbolism each animal represents. Students chose an animal that had characteristics they wanted to embody. Then they created a collage following examples of Salish Art.

Experimenting with Forces!

A lot of fun was had while experimenting with forces. Students developed a deeper understanding of pushing and pulling forces, gravity and friction. They used tops, bouncy balls, pinwheels, bubbles, marbles, and race cars to observe these forces. Nothing better than hands-on learning!

Task-Board Fun
