Investigating Shadows in Grade 1A!

Making Shadows!

We have been learning all about light in Grade 1. Over the last couple of weeks, we have identified artificial and natural sources of light and investigated objects that are transparent, translucent, and opaque. We finished our light unit today learning all about how shadows are made. We waited for a sunny day to go outside and make our own shadows. We traced our shadows using chalk.
