⚠️ Please read the message from Mr. Borkowski before ordering.
Parents,
We have received some inquiries regarding the "Feeding Futures" pricing for hot lunches. "Feeding Futures" is a grant program funded by the provincial government to support food security for families in need. Since our geographic region typically falls within a medium- to high-income bracket, our school receives the minimum funding available. Nevertheless, we recognize that some members of our community face financial challenges, and even something as simple as a hot lunch can make a meaningful difference in nourishing and uplifting a child.
When using the hot lunch ordering platform, you will see the "Feeding Futures" pricing option. While this option is currently open to everyone, we kindly ask that only families who truly cannot afford hot lunches make use of it. The fund will run out quickly if overused. Our goal is to keep access to this funding as barrier-free as possible, so there is no means test to determine eligibility. The choice is yours, and we trust you to use this option responsibly.
Sincerely,
Mr. Borkowski
