Grade One Weekly News
October 19th - October 23rd
Dear Grade One Parents,
Even though it was a short week we managed to get lots of things completed in class. We finished our Christian Ed units on Creation and how to be a Caretaker of Creation. We also had a visit from father Guy who talked all about friendship. We listened to stories about scarecrows, made scarecrows, had a go at drawing a scarecrow, wrote about scarecrows and even made a corn maze on our bulletin boards! In math we focused on using the language of greater than/less than/ equal to.
Thank you to everyone who brought in the kleenex boxes, we have already used a few of them!
