Grade 1 Weekly Plan and November Newsletter
November 2nd - November 6th
Dear Grade One Parents,
Thank you for helping the children dress up in their orange and black outfits on Friday. We had a fantastic day! We started our morning with a school-wide bingo game led by Mr. Borkowski and the rest of the day was filled with Halloween activities and lots of excited children!
This week in math we are beginning work on ten frames and looking at ways we organise numbers so we can easily read them. In Christian Education, we are starting our unit on Jesus the Storyteller. Towards the end of the week and the start of next week our focus will be on Remembrance Day. We will read true stories of animals and even a teddy bear going to war.
