Gr. One at the Pumpkin "Patch"

Smoke in the air canceled our original Pumpkin Patch field trip… so we just needed a quick pivot to Plan B!

Mr. Bouvier filled his SUV with pumpkins and drove them to the school. Together, Mr. and Mrs. Bouvier emptied the car and “hid” 60 pumpkins in the staffroom. (Surprise! Mr. Borkowski!)

Cue our Grade Four Buddies!

Our wonderful Buddies carried all the pumpkins up to the forest and hid them for us to find!

When we arrived at the forest on Wednesday afternoon, the children screamed with delight and filled the forest with sounds of joy! They enthusiastically ran around and found their best pumpkin! Plan B= success!
