"First Responders" Non-Uniform Day Friday, January 29th

Families of Star of the Sea School,

January has been a very safe and successful, yet tiring month. The dark mornings and evenings, combined with the challenge of staying fastidious and diligent in our COVID safety measures, have made it feel very long. All of our staff, students, and families deserve credit for maintaining a positive and hope-filled attitude. I sincerely thank you for everything you have done so far.

When I think of our first responders (Firefighters, Law Enforcement, and Medical Workers) I am humbled and filled with gratitude. They must be way more tired than me! They are constantly on the front lines during this pandemic keeping us all safe.

As a thank you to the kids and as a sign of our respect for our front-line workers, we are having a “First Responder” Non-Uniform Day on Friday, January 29th. Students may wear red (Firefighters), blue (Law Enforcement), or white (Medical Workers) on that day. If students have a uniform or costume of one of these three things they are welcome to wear that too.

Thank you to all our parents, especially all those working on the front lines every day! If any of you who are First Responders are willing and able to visit the school in uniform or with your cool emergency vehicles that day, please give me a call or email.

Sincerely,

Mr. Jason Borkowski

Principal
