Come join our Faith study
On behalf of Samantha Watt, a parent and parishioner of Star of the Sea, we would like to invite you to join a small Faith Study group at Good Shepherd Church.
This Faith Study will meet Wednesday mornings after mass at 9:30am and will run for 6 consecutive weeks beginning April 20 to May 25. This Faith study will use the Discovery Program from Catholic Christian Outreach (CCO).
The study will explore the Kerygma, or the 4 point Gospel message:
God is love and created us for relationship with him.
The relationship had been broken through sin.
Jesus exclusively restores that relationship through his death and resurrection.
We are all personally invited to accept the gift of salvation.
The study guides and outline, including the lesson topics for each of the 6 weeks, can be found at CCO.
Please note this Faith Study requires a commitment to participate each week as the sessions build on each other as the weeks progress.
