Christmas Play Information for all Students and Families

We are excited for our annual Christmas Musical production to return to the Star of the Sea stage again this year.

As each student has a vital role in our performance, it is important that all students attend all three play performances. Each grade will perform one song, which they have already been learning for several weeks now.

Our performance schedule

December 14 - 1 pm performance (regular school day)

December 15 - 1 pm performance (regular school day)

December 15 - 7 pm performance - Students arrive between 6:15 and 6:30, please. They will enter through the school's front (lobby) doors and go to their classrooms. If you are not staying to watch the play at that time, please plan to pick your child(ren) up at 8 pm.

If your family has a planned absence during play week, please notify your child’s teacher so they can plan accordingly.

Class Costumes

Please send your child to school on December 13th in their costume for our dress rehearsal. Students should have their uniforms in their backpacks so they can change afterwards. After our dress rehearsal, students will keep their costumes at school and change before their performances over the next two days. Please provide a bag with their name to help organize outfits in classrooms.

Kindergarten: Plain white shirt (no graphics), black pants

Grade 1: Dark shirt and pants (students will be provided choir robes for over top)

Grade 2: Wear plain black/brown/gray shirts (no graphics) and pants (top and bottoms same colour preferably)

Grade 3: Black pants and shirt (no graphics)

Grade 4: Black pants and shirt (no graphics)

Grade 5: Christmas colour theme clothing - “ugly” sweaters, PJ onesies, formal, etc.

Grade 6: Christmas colour theme clothing - “ugly” sweaters, PJ onesies, formal, etc.

Grade 7: Hip-hop-themed apparel - jeans and oversized t-shirts (plain colours or Christmas themed), plaid shirts tied around the waist, fake chains, sunglasses, backwards hats, etc.
