Chistmas Play Auditions

We invite all students in grades 6 & 7 to audition for our 2023 Christmas Play - Carol and the Belles, a 1950s-inspired musical production.

Audition Details

AUDITIONS HAVE BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL MONDAY, OCTOBER 16

Auditions will be held on Thursday, October 12, during lunch hour: Grade 6 at 12 p.m. and Grade 7 at 12:30 p.m.

At the audition, students will be given a brief scene and time to rehearse in small groups before auditioning for us—no advance memorization is required. 

As our production is a musical, willing singers are essential. There are only a few solo singing roles, but there will be small group and cast songs as well. All those willing to sing are asked to prepare a brief song as part of their audition (even the ABCs or Twinkle Twinkle will do).

Rehearsals

Rehearsals will be held every Tuesday from 3-4:15 p.m. and Thursday at 7:45 a.m. in the Fine Arts room, beginning Tuesday, October 17. On occasion, lunch hours will be used for additional practice. 

Play Presentations

December 19 - Dress rehearsal 9:30 a.m. (students only)

December 20 - 1 p.m. 

December 21 - 1 p.m.

December 21 - 7 p.m.
