Celebrating the Cedar Tree of Life-

As part of our Matter Unit we learned that the West Coast Natives used every part of the Cedar Tree. Bark was used to make baskets and even woven into clothing. The Cedar Tree wood was used for dugouts, totems and long houses. After all this learning, we went outside to honour the Cedar Tree on our school playground with a Fitst Nations prayer.
