Campus Ministry at Star of the Sea

Dear Parents,

Spring has a beautiful way of reminding us that growth is always possible — even (or especially!) in the quiet places we might overlook. As your children continue to blossom in their faith and learning here at school, we want to take a moment to invite you, too, into something new and meaningful.

We’re excited to announce the creation of a Campus Ministry here at Star of the Sea, and even more excited to introduce Michel Gloanec, who will be coordinating this new department. Michel brings a warm heart, deep faith, and a love for making the richness of our Catholic tradition accessible and alive.

We know that we live in a world that pulls us in many directions — one filled with noise, screens, endless updates, and busy schedules. All of these offer great opportunities, yes, but they can also distract us from the quiet, still, sacred spaces that nourish the soul. Through Campus Ministry, we hope to offer parents and families a way to reclaim some of that silence and rediscover the beauty, wisdom, and depth of the Catholic faith — whether you’re a lifelong Catholic, just starting to explore, or somewhere in between.

Have questions you’ve always wanted to ask but didn’t know how? Wrestling with something about faith? Curious about what the Church teaches on certain topics? We want to be a space where no question is too big, too small, or too awkward.

Faith isn’t just something we pass on — it’s something we live, together. We’d love for you to journey with us.
