Boys Soccer 2022 Season INFO

If your son is interested in joining this year's school soccer team, please complete the permission form by Friday, September 9.

CRITERIA for joining and staying on the team:

1. Ability to attend most practices and games.

2. Rides are to be arranged by parents.

3. Consistent effort and attention to all school work.

4. Correct soccer uniform, cleats and shin pads must be worn to all games and practices.

5. A positive sportsmanlike attitude towards coaches, referees and players.

Game schedule will be announced by CISVA sometime next week.   All divisions, including senior, will be playing Super Eight format.  

Practices will be at Star for all teams, and they will be as follows for the first 2 weeks:

Grade 5           Thursdays 3:00-4:15 (after school)

Grade 6           Mondays 3:00-4:15 (after school)

Grade 7           Wednesdays 2:30-3:45 (after school)

The season will begin the week of September 19 with practices and finish by the end of October, with finals finishing early November.

Monday, November 7, 2022 - 8:15am - 3pm - Juvenile Big Eight Tournament (Burnaby Lake Soccer Complex)

Tuesday, November 8, 2022 - - 8:15am - 3pm - Senior Division 1 Big Eight Tournament (Burnaby Lake Soccer Complex)

Wednesday, November 9, 2022 - 11:15am - 3pm - Senior Division 2 Finals Tournament (Burnaby Lake Soccer Complex)

More information about spectators and venues will be provided closer to the date.
