A lot of time was spent learning about the importance of Lent, Holy Week, and Easter this month.

Take a look at the activities completed that helped to bring to life these very holy and special days.

Penguin Study

Our Animal Life-Cycles Study has just begun. Up first was the Penguin Unit. Students learned all about penguins and even did a research project. Their Grade Six Buddies helped them out and taught them how to use Microsoft Documents. It was an interesting study with a lot of knowledge gained. It is just the beginning of this “egg-siting” study.

The Sacramental Theme this month is "Sharing a Meal." We discussed how we share meals with those we care about. The connection was made with meals we share at home as well as the special meal we celebrate with our Church community. Communion is a time to celebrate with a community of believers.
